Good news for all Hollyoaks fans out there!

Jamie Lomas will return to the British television programme full time as bad boy Warren Fox next year. For more than a decade in the Channel 4 series, Lomas played village villain Warren on and off. The Hollyoaks stalwart recently returned to screens in a cameo that surprised audiences.

It has now been confirmed that the villainous character is back for good as from 2020. The TV show is also set to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

“Warren Fox is one of our greatest ever characters and our most dynamic, complex villain. Jamie Lomas is a leading man who we can’t wait to have back,” said Hollyoaks executive producer Bryan Kirkwood.

Lomas joked that his comeback will be crammed with drama, claiming: “Warren is back in the village and when the Fox is back, trouble isn’t far behind him.

“The village best be on their toes because there is plenty of unfinished business.”

Warren appeared in the TV show on July, 29th as part of the scenario around Sienna Blake and her plot to take back her missing twins – who were actually fathered by Warren.

After Sienna gave birth to the twins in 2017, Warren kidnapped their daughter Sophie. He returned the following year and abducted their son, Sebastian.

Lomas is set to return to filming full-time before Christmas. As per some rumours, his scenes will air in the new year.

Jamie Lomas has had quite a history with Hollyoaks. He joined in 2006 and left in 2011 but came back in 2016 until 2017, leaving the Hollyoaks’ fans heartbroken. During his break with the show, Lomas played Jake Stone on rival soap EastEnders. In 2017, he was the runner-up in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here on ITV!

The English star recently made the headlines after a row with Emmerdale performer Asan N’Jie at the TV Choice Award ceremony. Lomas is said to have squared up to N’Jie after the latter aimed a “sarcastic jibe at him”.

The remark is thought to have made Lomas furious, with the star confronting the ITV actor. N’Jie later issued a grovelling apology to Lomas, saying in a statement: “My behaviour at the TV Choice Awards was completely unacceptable and very much out of character.

“I sincerely apologise to everybody who has been affected especially Jamie Lomas, the whole Emmerdale team, our audience, ITV, my family, and the organisers of the TV Choice Awards.

“I am devastated, accept full responsibility for my actions and I am determined to learn from this.”

The Hollyoaks star is said to have already “forgotten” the showdown and was happy to accept Asan’s apology.
