Get ready, set, and change your bookmarks….now

Yes. It’s finally happened. The site is here, replete with news, views, and Victorianic glory. It’s very likely that we won’t post as often for a while, but our posts will look prettier. We will also be making little edits and changes to the site (yes, we SEE the misspelling) until we learn html, which is to say, probably for the next 5 years. You can now comment on us, email us, and — if you are so inclined — mail us things. Just be sure anything you mail us contains chocolate.

Procrastination for the unpublished

styronThe Paris Review, starting November 10th, is, as the Times’ Lawrence Van Gelder puts it, rolling into the 21st century by slowly making available online over 300 of its famous “Writers at Work” interviews. We will not quibble over length of time the 21st century has actually been here; we only welcome the series, which will begin with two interviews with William Styron.

ballot Some of you will remember the Slate article, back in the end times, asking graphic designers to try their hands at designing, you know, BALLOTS. Now, Design for Democracy has PDF’s of better ballot designs designed by, you know, GRAPHIC DESIGNERS.
